The
Legion of Honor has served Za-Ga-Zig with distinction for many
years and is one of Za-Ga-Zig's oldest units.
The
Legion of Honor exists to perpetuate the memory of those who
died in the service of our country and to foster a spirit of
patriotism for this great nation.

"Freedom Is Not Free" button below to see a tribute to
our fallen comrades.
Membership in the Legion
of Honor is limited to Nobles of the
Mystic Shrine who are serving in, or have been honorably
discharged from, the Armed Forces of their country. This
includes service in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air force, National
Guard, Reserves, Merchant Marines, and
Coast Guard.
The Legion of Honor leads all Za-Ga-Zig
units in parades and presents the colors at ceremonials and
other Za-Ga-Zig functions. On Memorial Day, they place
flags on the graves of Masonic Veterans, post the colors and render a rifle salute.
Their
social activities include a Christmas Party, 4th of July party
and a Memorial Day brunch as well as partaking in the many
Za-Ga-Zig events.
If
you are a Noble who is currently in the service, or prior service,
we thank you for your service to this great nation and invite
you to join the Legion of Honor!
