MAHASKA COUNTY SHRINE CLUB

The Mahaska County Shrine Club golf tournament netted $ 5235.57 for The 
Shriners Hospitals for Children.  Pictured above, Noble Pat Burke on the left, 
tournament chairman, is presenting the proceeds to Noble Al Holliman, 
President of the Mahaska County Shrine Club.

84 Shriners from several Shrine Centers, golfers and just plain fun-lovers 
participated in a golf tournament in September to raise funds for the Hospitals.  
The Nobles of Mahaska Shrine Club and their Ladies worked to make this 
project a success.  Some found hole sponsors and some solicited prizes from merchants to use as event prizes and door prizes.  Some donated time and 
others money.  
Major support was provided by Pat Burke, Musco Lighting, Dr. Salamis, 
Oskaloosa Golf Club and Cindy and Gary Junkins.
