SHRINE PETITION
MASONIC PETITION
We are truly glad that you have an interest in becoming a Shriner,
it says a lot about the kind of man you are.
Please take a few minutes to look at the
information in the links above. The link
"This Time" plays a short song that says what we are all about. It
sums up why we exist as an organization. We are
grateful for the lives we live and believe that it is our duty to
give something back. What better gift than to provide free
medical care to children in need. This is clearly written in
the Shrine Mission
Statement.
The "Membership
Video" is a
more detailed explanation including a brief history. The
membership video is very informative and enlightening. If
you prefer, you can read abouth the history of the Shrine at the
link "Shrine
History".
Ever wonder what kind of man becomes a
Shriner? Most are good, ordinary and upstanding men like you
and me. But there have been many outstanding individuals in
the Shrine. Take a look through the list of
"Famous Shriners".
What better measure of an organization is there than the members
themselves. I think you will see that over time the Shrine
of North America has had some great members.
Of course, we have fun too! We enjoy parades, parties, dances, dinners, trips,
cruises, sporting events and other social occasions. Most
importantly, we enjoy the fellowship of good men and the
satisfaction of knowing that we are helping children.
Take a look at our many Units
and Clubs
for more information about what they do. Each unit and club
has a Unit Samsar that will be glad to answer your questions and
assist you in joining their group. The Unit contact
information is listed on the respective Unit or Club page on this
site.
