The
Provost Guard escorts the Potentate and provides security and
traffic control
at the Shrine Circus and other Shrine functions. We are also an active, motorized parade unit with motorcycles.
Several members are active with our competition shooting teams.
We shoot handguns and shotguns. There is bull's-eye shooting,
balloon shoots, trap and
sporting clays.
Our
social activities include potluck dinners and picnics. We also host
the semi-annual steak fry that is very well attended. It
is a great source of fellowship and a successful fund
raiser.
We
are an outstanding unit that provides a positive experience
to the members and tends to have active participation.
